Ichigo Momomiya (Ver. 2.0) - Tokyo Mew Mew

((Thanks to a fan view! They OWN!))
Inspiration: I really love my Ichigo Costume. I couldn’t just retire it so I decided to make it better and more accurate. Plus Mew-Pudding and I arranged a Mew Mew photo shoot and I wanted to be the best Mew Ichigo ever! So of course my Ver 2.0 project had begun...
Completed: May 29, 2005
Worn At: Anime Next 2005
Costume Pluses:
1. I was reconized and got lots of photos taken. Life is great!
2. It was a comfortable costume to wear and really I liked being cute
Costume Misuses:
1. I never threaded the boot covers, so they looked weird
2. My tail got destroyed on the way to New York so it was a waste.
Cost: The new Materials were about five dollars, not much needed to be done.
Fave Aspect:
1. I don't know but I have this weird thing about chokers...chokers are just awsome so I really liked the one I made.
2. Again the cuteness ^_^ Being a cute kitty girl...kinda cliche but cute.
Least Fave aspect:
1. I really didn't like the gloves. Although I don't really like wearing gloves at all. They are hard to move it and pick up stuff, although the ones I wore were thick winter gloves and they got caught in a lot of velcro.
1. The Dress
[x] The top part is a tank top with the fabric sewn onto it.
[x] The skirt is actually two skirts. The first one is my orginal skirt, nice and poofy and added support for the second one I made.
2. Choker - Piece of fabric with red trim and shut togethr with velcro.
[x] Mew Mew Piece - Clay sculpted (drawn on with tools) baked in the oven then painted gold and I also added a pink rhine stone in the middle.
3. Arm things are actually elastic sewn on bother sides and red trim sewn on.
4. Gloves - Just gloves bought at the thrift store.
5. Boots - The boots are just boot but the cover are actually a pair of tights that I had not had time to string on ^_^;
6. Ears - Black fabric cut, stuffed and sewn onto a headband.
